Miguel Lee-Leon has been inspired by artists David Hockney, Piet Mondrian and Peter Max.   His earlier work had a photo realistic, sharp, crisp quality.   His blending and shading were handled with the finest detail.   Later after years of working as the lead scenic artist in Las Vegas, Japan and through out the United States painting murals, speciality finishes and working with Venetian plaster; Miguel has returned to canvas paintings.   Now working in his LEE-LEON STUDIO, Miguel's abstract paintings don't reference recognizable form.  His mixed media art pieces are open to interpretation.  Multiple layers are applied and sanded thru for depth and balance.
